The City Clerk serves as the Elections Administrator for the City of Baytown, the Baytown Crime Control and Prevention District and the Baytown Fire Control, Prevention and EMS District.  The City Clerk works closely with Harris County and Chambers County through the joint election process to undertake the elections for each entity.

Tuesday, November 7, 2017, City of Baytown General Election for Council District Nos. Four (4), Five (5) and Six (6)

The City of Baytown will hold Joint Elections with Harris and Chambers Counties on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, for the purpose of electing council members for single member district nos. 4, 5, and 6.  Below are some important dates to remember:

July 24, 2017 First Day to File for a Place on the Ballot with City Offices Open from 8am - 5pm
July 13, 2017 City Council will Call General Election
August 21, 2017 at 5pm Last Day to File for a Place on the Ballot
August 25, 2017 at 5pm  Last Day to File as a Write-in Candidate
August 28, 2017 Last Day to for Candidate to Withdraw 
October 10, 2017 Last Day to Register to Vote (Register with your County of Residence)
October 23 - November 3, 2017 Early Voting by Personal Appearance
November 7, 2017, 7am - 7pm Election Day (Vote at Precinct Locations)
November 20, 2017 Canvass Election Results and Call Runoff Election if needed
